Meet Dr. Maddie Rex
Finding My Passion
I grew up in Allen County, just outside of Harrod, Ohio. Growing up, my family was very involved with 4-H. 4-H taught me invaluable leadership skills and it only seems fitting that I found myself using my Head, Heart, Hands, and Health in my career as well. I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, but before leaving for college, I found myself struggling with TMJ issues. It was chiropractic care that was able to not only help my TMJ issues but give me peace of mind as well. From that moment, I knew it was the same kind of care I wanted to provide to my patients one day and fully cemented my future in chiropractic. While in chiropractic school, I discovered my passion for treating pediatric and prenatal patients.
Chiropractic Education
I attended Allen East and graduated salutatorian of my class in 2015. I then attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where I double majored in biology and English literature. I graduated cum laude with my bachelor’s degree in 2019. Following undergrad, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I attended the ICPA’s Webster Seminar while in chiropractic school to get a head start on getting Webster’s Certified. While in clinic, I worked closely with a number of pediatric and prenatal patients. I graduated magna cum laude from Palmer with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in February of 2023.
Outside the Office
When I’m not at the office, you can probably find me curled up reading a book with my mischievous cat, Ozzie, going hiking, or spending time outdoors. I enjoy cooking, listening to all kinds of music, and walking/running on the treadmill. I love to hang out with my friends and family doing anything from playing board games to grabbing a bite to eat.
